Who is eligible?
Eligibility for financial assistance will be considered for individuals who are uninsured, underinsured, ineligible for any government healthcare benefit program, and who are unable to pay for their care, based on financial need determined in accordance with this policy. The granting of financial assistance is based on an individualized determination of financial need, and is not based on age, gender, race, social or immigrant status, sexual orientation or religious affiliation.
How long will it take?
You should receive a response within 10 business days from the time your application is received.
What do I do about my bill while I'm waiting?
You may be asked to establish a payment arrangement with the hospital and physicians' offices during the application process.
What will i owe if I'm eligible for financial assistance?
If you are eligible for a reduction of your bill, the amount you owe will be determined by a sliding scale based on the Federal Poverty Guidelines. You will receive a letter from a financial counselor outlining the details of your responsibility.
